Located in 15 acres of beautiful woodland and grounds, with a stunning Palladian Mansion at its centre, Dunottar is a co-educational day school with high standards and a caring ethos on the outskirts of Reigate, Surrey. Pastoral care is at the heart of everything we do.
Our aim at Dunottar is to bring out the best in every pupil, enabling them to be the very best they can be. By spending time with each individual pupil, we aim to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, is able to achieve excellent “added value” in their academic work. We pride ourselves on our warm and nurturing, family environment, where pupils are supported and encouraged to succeed both academically and outside the classroom. We offer a broad and exciting co-curricular programme, with extensive opportunities for pupils to try something new, broadening their interests and rising to new challenges.
At Dunottar, we want our pupils to be ready for the challenges of life after school. We believe that for children to achieve spectacular outcomes, they need to embrace our Warrior Learner behaviours of aspiration, creativity, curiosity, tenacity, independence, inclusivity and collaboration. Pupils are encouraged to demonstrate these behaviours across all areas of school life, in lessons, co-curricular activities and sport, developing essential skills to allow them to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
